Refund Policy 2024

If in the unfortunate circumstances a participant must withdraw from the event the refund policy is as follows:

75% REFUND up until the 1st of July 2024 or transfer to the 2025 event date (TBC). If a competitor chooses to transfer their entry to the 2025 event they are not entitled to the 2024 Refund Policy, as in they are not eligible for a refund in 2025.

50% REFUND from the 1st of July up until the 15th of August 2024. You are able to transfer your entry to the 2025 event date (TBC) up until the 1st of August only. If a competitor chooses to transfer their entry to the 2025 event they are not entitled to the 2024 Refund Policy, as in they are not eligible for a refund in 2025. 

25% REFUND between the 15th August, 2024 and up to the 8th of September, 2024. 

NO TRANSFERS TO 2025 AFTER THE 1ST OF AUGUST.

NO REFUNDS AFTER THE 8TH OF SEPTEMBER.

Please do not request a transfer or refund after the dates stated above. The Refund Policy will be adhered to - we are unable to allow for special circumstances, as everyone has a special circumstance. Thank you for your understanding. 

If you want to amend your race distance: 

• You can amend your race distance up until the 8th of September, 2024. 
• If you wish to increase your race distance you will need to pay the difference in entry fee.  
• There are no refunds if you decrease your race distance.
• NO AMENDMENTS AFTER THE 8TH OF SEPTEMBER.
• You can amend your distance via your registration email. Log in to your account via your Registration email from Event Plus. Select 'Change Category' from the options. If you are unsure of the process please contact support@racetekapo.com for assistance. 

If you want to transfer your entry to another competitor:

• You can transfer your entry to another competitor up until the 8th of September, 2024. 
• There is a $15 admin fee that is charged to the new competitor when they enter, via Event Plus.
• You can transfer your entry via your registration email. Log in to your account via your Registration email from Event Plus. If you are unsure of the process please contact support@racetekapo.com for assistance.
• NO TRANSFERS AFTER THE 8TH OF SEPTEMBER. 

STANDARD ENTRIES CLOSING 11:59PM SUNDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER, 2024.

LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED UP UNTIL 9PM THURSDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER AT AN ADDITIONAL $20 PER ENTRY. 

WE MAY ALLOW ENTRIES ON THE DAY, DEPENDING ON ENTRY NUMBERS. We will be updating this information so please check back closer to the event date.  

In case of a natural disaster, extreme adverse weather, or cancellation of the event due to safety reasons, entry fees will not be refunded.
