Tickets on sale Monday 12th May 6:00am

Seats are limited. It is highly recommended that you book the bus as early as possible. 

Details on how to book can be found below.  


All bus ticket holders will be emailed final instructions on Tuesday 9th September.

Coming to Race Tekapo in a group but your race starts earlier than everyone else's? Take the bus to Lake Tekapo and meet the rest of your group later in the day.

MORE OPTIONS TO GET YOU ON THE START LINE

FAIRLIE - TEKAPO

Competitors are able to book a seat on a bus from Fairlie to Tekapo at the following times:


4:45am (suitable for 50K and 32K competitors), arriving at approximately 5:15am

7:15am (suitable for 16K and 21K competitors), arriving at approximately 7:45am

8:45am (suitable for 21K, 12K, 5K competitors), arriving at approximately 9:15am


Seats are limited. $35pp. Bookings are made via Event Plus when you register. 

If you have already booked you are able to log in to your profile and select 'Shop' from the options. 

Seats are limited to competitors only. Supporters are not able to book seats on the buses due to limited availability.


You must purchase a bus seat before Monday 8th September 5:00pm (unless sold out prior) - no ticket sales on the day.

All bus ticket holders will be emailed final instructions on Tuesday 9th September.

FAIRLIE Bus Pick Up Location

Talbot Rd 

(near the skatepark)


Arrive 10 minutes prior to departure time. The buses leave on time and will not wait for any late comers. 

TWIZEL - TEKAPO

Competitors are able to book a seat on a bus from Twizel to Tekapo at the following times:


4:30am (suitable for 50K and 32K competitors), arriving at approximately 5:15am

7:00am (suitable for 16K and 21K competitors), arriving at approximately 8:15am

8:30am (suitable for 21K, 12K, 5K competitors), arriving at approximately 9:15am


Seats are limited. $40pp. Bookings are made via Event Plus when you register. 

If you have already booked you are able to log in to your profile and select 'Shop' from the options. 

Seats are limited to competitors only. Supporters are not able to book seats on the buses due to limited availability.


You must purchase a bus seat before Monday 8th September 5:00pm (unless sold out)  - no ticket sales on the day.

TWIZEL Bus Pick Up Location

Wairepo Rd 

(opposite the Ministry of Works Machines, near State Highway 8)

TEKAPO - FAIRLIE | TEKAPO - twizel

Competitors are able to book a seat to return to either Fairlie or Twizel at the following time:

4:30pm


Return seats are $25pp.


Seats are limited. Bookings are made via Event Plus. 

If you have already booked you are able to log in to your profile and select 'Shop' from the options. 

Seats are limited to competitors only. Supporters are not able to book seats on the buses due to limited availability.

TEKAPO "Bus Stop"

Motuariki Lane

(at the side of the large gravel parking area, near the footbridge)
