PLEASE DO NOT COME TO RACE REGISTRATION OUTSIDE OF THESE ALLOCATED TIMES to ensure the process runs smoothly. These times allow for everyone to get sorted before each race begins.
You will need to bring your entry confirmation with you when you collect your Race Pack.
The Race Village is situated between the shops and the lake. You can't miss it!
The Race Village is less than a 10 minute walk from most accommodation options in the township.
50K and 32K events: RANDOM GEAR CHECKS will take place on the morning of the race. If your number is called out prior to the race start you will be required to pop over to the Registration tent to get your gear checked off.
Compulsory Gear is required regardless of the weather forecast due to the length of your event and the remote location of some of the course routes.
No gear checks will be done on Friday 20th September at Race Registration.
21K, 16K, and 12K events: On Friday 20th September the Race Director along with the Safety Manager will decide if the Compulsory Gear can become Recommended Gear. The team will be making a decision based on weather forecasts and track conditions for race day. This will be announced on Friday 20th September via email and social media. Please come prepared for alpine weather - if we do compulsory gear checks and you do not have the correct gear then you will not be able to race.
IF THE WEATHER FORECAST DEEMS IT NECESSARY TO CARRY COMPULSORY GEAR, WE WILL DO RANDOM GEAR CHECKS FOR THE 21KM, 16KM, AND 12KM EVENTS on the morning of the race. If you are not carrying gear you will be disqualified from the race.
Remember: no gear checks will be done on Friday 20th September at Race Registration. Random gear checks will be done on race day prior to your race starting. If announced, the compulsory gear for the 21K, 16K, and 12K events may be dropped to ‘recommended gear’ - check your email and social media on Friday 20th September for any updates.
