Race Registration will be at Lake Tekapo Community Hall, 8 Aorangi Crescent, Friday 20th September, between 4pm - 8:00pm.
Alternatively you can collect your race pack on the morning of the race between the following times at the Race Village by the lake:
PLEASE DO NOT COME TO RACE REGISTRATION OUTSIDE OF THESE ALLOCATED TIMES to ensure the process runs smoothly. These times allow for everyone to get sorted before each race begins.
You will need to bring your entry confirmation with you when you collect your Race Pack.
Gear Checks will occur at the following times on the morning of the race:
Please do not come to get your gear checked or register outside of these times to ensure the morning runs smoothly for everyone.
Penny Wilson from Tekapo Wellness will be running FREE Yoga Stretch and Breathe classes on the Friday evening before the race.
Classes will be running every 20 minutes from 5pm until 7pm at Tekapo School (which is across the road from the Race Registration venue on Aorangi Crescent).
Follow the link below to pre-register, or after you have registered for Race Tekapo pop across the road to Tekapo School and join in.
Walkers are welcome in the 21KM, 16KM, 12KM, 5KM and Kids Dash events. (Please bear in mind the cut-off times for the half marathon event.) Due to traffic management the course will close at 3:00pm, This is at approximately the 18km mark for the 21km event.
There is no separate prize pool for walkers.
Prams are allowed in the 5km event only.
Please ensure your pram is able to cover off-road conditions. Strollers will likely not manage the terrain.

Being a passionate runner herself, endurance athletes are some of her favourite clients to work with. Prior to working solely in private practice, Cushla previously worked clinically for a number of years in some of New Zealand’s largest hospitals, before spending nearly four years specialising in diabetes. This experience allows her to apply a clinical, practical, and realistic approach to all those she works alongside.
